Re-Arrange the World – The Provincetown Independent

We continue to find ourselves bathed in the mystical energies of Pisces this week, as the Sun, Mercury, and Neptune converge in a powerful conjunction in the eleventh house — the house of community and friendship.

These planets inspire us to delve into our dreams and fantasies to guide us toward creating a world that is kinder and more compassionate. We are called to find our tribes and connect beyond them to build a more sustainable community.

The problem is that right now there’s also the potential for intense emotions and power struggles, as Venus squares Pluto. This aspect brings to the surface deep-seated fears and issues of attachment. We must confront them with understanding, both for ourselves and for others, if we want to make progress. This is a good time to remember those facing housing insecurity, for example.

It is easy to point out the obvious flaws in our community, but if you’re not a part of the solution — well, you know the rest. Use the inspiration and intuition that these astrological aspects provide to take necessary action.

Go ahead and be can-do about it all. This week invites us to take risks and embrace our inner innovators, as Mercury forms a sextile with Uranus. Our minds are sharp and creative, our imaginations vivid and full of possibility.

Feeling that creative urge this week, Aries? Allow yourself the freedom to explore new things, and keep in mind no one’s first anything was ever good.

April 20 – May 20
Take some time to think about what is most important to you right now. Dig deep. You have the will to make it happen.

You may be feeling extra energized this week, so pump up the music and get some things done.

June 21 – July 22
If you’re feeling tired and burned out, that’s okay; it may be time for some reflection. Allow yourself to breathe.

Check in with your health and wellness routines. Get active, eat well, and take care of your body. It will do wonders for your energy, clarity, and sense of self.

Set aside some time to nurture your creative side. I hear knitting is really good for anxiety and can be quite meditative. You might surprise yourself with what you can do.

Dip into that deeply reflective pool of your own mind. Make some assessments on what’s important and what it is you’re working towards. Trust your gut.

Take a break from the internal world and get out there. Reach out to friends and loved ones; get sappy; let them know how important they are to you.

Nov. 22 – Dec. 21
Is working 9 to 5 not the way to make a living or what? Make some career changes, or at the very least, ask for that raise already!

Dec. 22 – Jan. 19
Focus on your life at home. Spend some quality time with family. If there’s any drama in your bubble, now is a good time to resolve it.

Jan. 20 – Feb. 18
Craving some mental stimulation right now? Don’t bore yourself. We all know you’d rather be talking about quantum mechanics with the other weirdos.

Feb. 19 – March 20
There’s no substitute for self-care. Prioritize your own needs right now. It’s a good time to set intentions for the year ahead. How about a vision board?
