Steph Vale, 37, and Stuart Vale, 39 have opened a second Essex Bicycles store at 214 London Road, Hadleigh.
Last weekend the duo officially opened their doors for the first time, offering repair services as well as selling bikes and other cycling equipment.
Essex Bicycles already has a store in Station Lane, Pitsea, which opened during the pandemic in July 2020.
Steph said: “We are very excited to be opening our second store.
“We were not expecting to expand so soon, but this perfect location become available.
“Our new store offers the same services – great bikes, great repairs, and top customer service.
“Deep in the pandemic we opened our first store with the support of our family and friends.”
She added: “As a family we were also raising a young daughter so as you can imagine this is a lot of balance.
“But Stuart always wanted his own bike shop as he has such a love of bikes and mechanics, and we had an opportunity, so we decided to take that risk back in 2020.
“We are so glad we did and we are so lucky to have met some great people and gain a five-star reputation.
“Business has been extremely busy for us since then.”
The opening hours are 9am until 5.30pm Tuesday to Saturday, and 10am until 4pm on Sundays.
They also aim to open on Mondays too in the near future.
Steph added that the aim for the future is to focus on continuing to offer top quality services.
She said: “Our plans for the future now are to establish the brand further.
“And to continue to offer top quality services.”
The couple also say thank you to Ross, Will and Tom who are all “so important” to their business.
Essex Bicycles are also on the hunt for new employees to join their business. Anyone interested or would like to find out more, can email firstname.lastname@example.org
