2 ‘critically injured’ in fight after metro Atlanta high school basketball game, district says

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Two people were critically injured in a fight after a basketball game between two metro Atlanta high schools Friday night, Fulton County Schools said.

It happened as spectators were leaving Tri-Cities High School’s campus for the game against Banneker High School. Fulton County Schools Police is working with the East Point Police Department to investigate the incident, the district said.

The district did not comment on how the fight broke out, if weapons were involved or if the two injured were students.
